Filename & E-mail Conventions
The following file and email conventions are critical for the effective handling of your work and correspondence.
Filename Convention
When naming files for class work
submissions, the following convention
is to be used for all submitted files:
- Complete your activity using formats accessible by MSOffice applications (e.g., filename.doc
etc.).
- Name your file using your 'namecode' (that is your last name
& first name; e.g., Daman Hagerott = HagerottDaman) combined
with a provided 'activitycode' (assigned code provided for each
activity).
- For example, if Daman Hagerott submitted an activity file with the
activitycode named "_Que2", his file name would be as follows:
HagerottDaman_Que2.

Email Convention
Submitting work via email or cooresponding about class
Subject heading= hs433, activitycode or reason for writing
- Subject heading should always include the
following: hs433 and activity code (if submitting work) or the reason
for your email.
- For sending activity mail (mail with an attached activity) you would
include the above information.
- For Example, to submit the 'HagerottDaman_Que2' activity file by email
attachment, the subject line would look like the following: hs433, Que2
- If
you have comments concerning the attached activity, include them within the attached
file in a text box or other comment method for document review. Leave a short note
stating, "see comments in document".
